Illuminated Clock Screensaver

This illuminated clock wallpaper has been made using Quartz Composer for Mac OS X. It is a standard Quartz composition so it can be used as a screensaver AND as a wallpaper if you use software such as Quartz Desktop.

The ambient lighting changes depending on the hour of the day so at night the clock face is barely visible and the dials stand out.

All graphics were made from scratch using Photoshop and Illustrator. They were then exported as PNG files with alpha for use in the Quartz composition.

The clock face design is based on Traser’s awesome swiss watches. Note that I am in no way affiliated with them, I just happen to love their watches.
